While earning my degree at New York University, I had the opportunity to study Art History and Film in Paris, Costume Design in Prague, and Fashion Illustration at both Parsons the New School for Design and the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Just in case that wasn’t enough school, I moved back to my hometown of Chicago to get my Cosmetology license at Pivot Point Academy where I specialized in men’s grooming and ethnic hair. I was trained in makeup artistry by top-selling brands MAC Cosmetics and Bare Minerals and received expert training in special effects makeup at NYU. I’ve designed costumes for dance and theater productions, music videos and films of many genres.
